How long has your hospice care operation been operating?
Our hospice care operation has been providing compassionate support and care for individuals and families since 2021. Despite being relatively new, our team brings years of collective experience in healthcare and a deep commitment to ensuring comfort and dignity for our patients.
When is it time for Hospice Care?
The time for Hospice care is when a person has a terminal illness with a life expectancy of approximately six months or less, hospice care is recommended. This involves stopping curative treatments and focusing on comfort and quality of life.
What services does your hospice provide?
Lake View Hospice Care offers a range of services. Our interdisciplinary team of hospice-trained professionals comprises physicians, registered nurses, clinical social workers, non-denominational chaplains, home aides, homemakers, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians, and volunteers. What kinds of insurance do you accept?
We accept MediCal, as well as Medicare. We also work with various other insurance companies. This coverage includes services related to the terminal illness with little or no out-of-pocket expenses.
Where is your hospice care provided?
Lake View Hospice Care is dedicated to providing palliative care absolutely wherever it is needed - night or day. At the moment, we are serving California, specifically Los Angeles and the counties of Orange and San Bernadino.
Can family members participate in the care process at your hospice services?

Can hospice care be stopped or changed?
Yes, hospice care can be changed or stopped if the patient's condition improves or if they choose to pursue curative treatments. Patients can return to hospice care if needed in the future.
What happens after a patient passes away in hospice care?
After a patient's passing, hospice continues to support the family with bereavement services, counseling, and resources to help them navigate the grieving process.
